One That Started Them All

Hello all, After watching a bunch of Youtube videos we decided to go food shopping to pick up a bunch of food for my boyfriend to try to cook aka a dinner challenge. At the store we had a big list of other groceries and random items to get in the span of an hour because we are young and tried to cram two stops into one joint trip (we succeeded with a lot of rushing). After finishing grocery shopping we move on to our next store to finish the list and by the end of that trip we get out of the store with 30 minutes till closing. Joint trip accomplished..... or so we thought, we forgot to grab ingredients for the challenge.  Needless to say we went home with no second thoughts. It is the day of the dinner challenge and we take a span of 5 minutes to pick out ingredients from the snabinet (snack cabinet) and the fridge. LAYOFF/PAYOFF

Amongst all the crazy coronavirus business, most people are being laid off. Me being one of them as well as my long term boyfriend and our housemate. So far we all have been out of work about 2 weeks each, some of more than others. Little tidbit about whats going on is we just bought a house before the heightened fear of corona closed almost everything down. Not only did we have to start shopping for our new house but we had to do so while people around us were stocking up on toilet paper and other paper products. Shopping for a new house alone is stressful but to put you in our shoes we were walking through aisles of people with completely loaded carts. You walk through the canned fruits and veggie aisle and find minimal selection. We found most of what we needed luckily and toilet paper was not one of those things (as if that wasn't obvious).
